Alta Window Fashions Brand Identity
Jargon Boy’s Creative Director Greg Chinn collaborated with Brooks Branch and Melanie Paykos of The Creative Branding Group to pitch a new identity for Alta Window Fashions, a division of Hunter-Douglas.
The CBG concept of this pitch was Simplify, Simplify, Simplify. The rationale was that window treatments are a complicated product category, the sales process/product selection is difficult and an there is an industry-wide trend to simplify the process. People crave an easy 1-2-3 formula. According to many dealer responses, design matters. The dealers want to be empowered more.
The idea behind the logo was combining the "A" letterform with blinds to create a graphic symbol that perfectly represents what Alta Window Fashions is about.
